Award-winning alto saxophonist and composer Nikola Bankov (1998), is coming up with his 3rd album “Everwanted” which is truly pushing the boundaries of fusion-jazz music and his instrument. Nikola is a winner of the prestigious Danish Music Awards and is listed in Forbes' 30 under 30, as one of the 30 most successful people under the age of 30 in Slovakia. He originates from Slovakia and is currently based in Zürich.

EVERWANTED consists of 7 original compositions written by the leader. The inspiration comes from moving from Denmark to Switzerland to complete his master's degree in jazz saxophone and from life experiences from that particular period of time.

The sound of the album is varied and sonically interesting precisely because of modern synth sounds, moog bass, and saxophone in combination with FX. The biggest influences for this record are artists such as Aurora, Sigrid, Louis Cole, Thundercat or Mk.Gee. The compositions are written especially for the quintet formation, but there is also a song called “Peace of Mind” in a duo formation (sax + bass guitar). This track features renowned bassist Tim Lefebvre, who worked with David Bowie or Donny McCaslin. The closing track “Fast Life” features British guitarist Tom Ford, who’s known for touring with Chris Dave, Keyon Harrold or Reuben James.
