Cort Piil is a Norway-based group formed in 2018 in Bergen. After playing a variety of festivals and venues around Europe since then, the band decided to record their debut album “Leaving Home”.

The album tells a story of leaving a familiar place to explore something new, both physically and mentally. It is about the mystique and beauty of the unknown and finding yourself in the middle of it all.

The music will take you on a journey of depth and diversity and will keep you immersed in beautiful melodies and surprising complexity. Throughout, the group maintains a great balance between tension and pleasant moments that captures the imagination of the songs, bringing them to life with substance and expression.
