Cursed Location is the ideal continuation and development of Biagio Coppa’s Intrepid Trio project. The acoustic setting is the same but the writing differs, opening up to a different system of musical compositions and sounds, thanks also to the use of the vibraphone. The music is a fusion of downtown New York and avant-garde European creative music.

The pieces are faced with a scenario that leaves more space for a musical "role game", in its widest meaning: the skilful writing and singular architecture of the works conceived by Coppa demand that every musician takes on multiple roles giving rise to imaginary musical situations and scenarios, simulated following a defined system of variables.

The instrumental and musical language is totally unlimited and its purpose is aimed exclusively at the success and fulfilment of the "Game-Composition". The musicians exploit their playful-tactical intelligence in defining, through the dialectical exchange, a new musical context in the making, unimaginable and not expectable (unconditioned).
