The Hawks Triad is a Swiss/Argentine jazz-rock trio based in Winterthur, Switzerland. The group was founded in Belgrade, Serbia, during the summer of 2021 by Swiss drummer Adrian Böckli and Argentine composer and multi-instrumentalist Luciano Ponzano. The trio is completed by bassist Gregory Schärer from Lucerne, Switzerland.

Across seven original compositions, Orillas weaves a rich tapestry of global influences: melodic ideas drawn from Lebanese, Middle Eastern, and Balkan traditions; vibrant Brazilian grooves; and rhythmic complexity rooted in Argentine folklore. These elements are seamlessly integrated with jazz, rock, and North African pulses—at times colored by the atmospheric twang of surf rock. Orillas truly reflects the expanded musical landscapes the trio has been exploring since their debut release Carnivale.

The Hawks Triad continues to evolve—bringing music to life that transcends borders and expectations. For those familiar with the band’s earlier material, Orillas arrives with fresh intensity and plenty of exciting surprises.
