Mark Wade Trio

Since graduating NYU, Mark Wade has balanced his musical schedule between jazz, classical, and commercial gigs. His jazz credits include playing in the string section for the Jimmy Heath Big Band’s performances of Ernie Wilkins’s Four Black Immortals, backing singer Stacey Kent on The Today Show, playing with trumpeter Bill Warfield’s New York Jazz Repertory Orchestra, and recording with vocalist Elli Fordyce. He also recorded with NYU alumnus Neil Diamond as part of a band made up of other alumni on a song the famous singer wrote for the university. (It was never released.) He has performed with the numerous classical ensembles, including the Key West Symphony with which he backed guitarist Sharon Isbin and violinist Robert McDuffe, both of them Grammy winners. He is presently principal bassist of the Bronx Opera Company.

Wade´s trio in his own name, Mark Wade Trio consists of renowned Tim Harrisson on piano and Scott Neumann on drums. They released their second album Moving Day on the European market via AMP early 2020.
