Norbye/Stray

Norbye/Stray is a piano and guitar duo exploring the meeting point between classical tradition and contemporary sound. Through inventive arrangements and a strong focus on texture and timbre, they bring new life to classical works while creating a space for experimentation and dialogue.

Ole Fredrik Norbye is one of Norway’s most acclaimed jazz pianists. In addition to his work with Norbye/Stray, he has released several projects, including his soloalbum Beyond the Forest, which earned him a place in the AMP roster.

Bernt Rune Stray is among Norway’s most versatile and prolific guitarists, with an extensive discography and collaborations spanning a wide range of international projects and genres.
